Every big city has a fenced military district: the army's last stand, now overrun. It is a military zone with locked buildings and enemy soldiers.
Fence and gates
- A chain link fence with wire and landmines runs round the district.
- Gates are shut 8 times in 10: wire and landmines, a steel gate, a bus or a HESCO wall. The rest are broken open.
- Toll gates and checkpoints stand where streets cross the fence.
Careful
Landmines are real. Watch the ground near the fence and at shut gates.
Inside
Military buildings with military loot, many locked behind doors that need a military keycard; motor pools with vehicle lines, crash sites with burnt ground, fighting positions on the corners. Enemy military groups patrol the streets.
